Kids programs at Edmonton Public Library

It's finally spring break! I don't know about you but we are pretty excited over here! My husband is a teacher so we get to have him home for ten days! Besides sleeping and cleaning the house, we will definitely be checking all the programs at Edmonton Public Library this break. 

We are huge fans of the Library programs already. We go to the library at least once a week. It is such a great resource for kids and family. It's free, educational and the kids have a blast. They offer a variety of programs during the week. We went to Sing, Sign, Laugh and Learn this week at the Meadows and it was awesome! Great for toddlers and babies, with a variety of activities & stories, including a bubble machine! Which clearly the kids loved, haha!

From March 24-31, the Edmonton Public Library is running some super awesome and free programs for families during spring break. Research proves that keeping kids minds sharp during vacation helps when they return to school and has a measurable impact on their mental acuity. Plus, it's a lot of fun and a great way to spend quality time together!

A couple of the programs that caught my eye specifically that I know Emery and Alder would enjoy are Puppet Adventures, There's a Song Inside of Me, and X-Marks the Spot. Puppets, singing, and balloons & magic sounds like a perfect family time to me! 

If you have older kids who love LEGO, you will want to check out the It's a Scientific World where you get to explore custom motorized LEGO models. Or for the little artist in your household, Art Attack is the program for them, where you get to channel your inner Picasso or draw your own Dali.

From going on a robotic adventure to searching for lost treasure with magical balloon twisting comedian, there's something for everyone this Spring Break at EPL!
