The one thing I regret from when Emery was a newborn, was not taking family photos. We took newborn photos of her (see this post) but not photos with her. I was so thrilled when we finally got together with Erin Walker Photography to take these family photos a few weeks ago. I am so in love with the pictures! Erin has such an eye & always captures the true essence of us (see our maternity photos by her here). You can't even tell in these photos how miserable Emery was the whole time. Okay except the one funny photo which truly captures our little miss Sassy pants! It was hard not for me to post every photo into this blog post, they are all so beautiful! I even got some photos printed which I never do!

Mabel Garcia-Custom Illustration-I Love The Moon
A couple of months ago, I was on Instagram & got tagged in the cutest post of all time. Mabel Garcia
from "I Love Moon" had illustrated a mini portrait of me! She was doing a 30 day challenge where she was illustrating different Edmontonians. I was so flattered & thrilled that she included me! This little illustration is such a keepsake & I know it's something I will always cherish! Mabel does custom illustrations, which include fun family illustrations like this one! She also creates super rad temporary tattoos!

Is there anything more festive then going to the garden centre & picking up some fresh greens? I went & checked out Greenland Garden Centre this week to pick up a few last minute decorations.
Wearing the colour red also has me feeling extra festive! When I picked up this purse from Lance at DKNY West Edmonton Mall, I knew it was the perfect purse for the season & beyond. Tis The Holiday Season

A couple of months ago I was invited to a "Harvest Garden Soiree" at PURA Botanicals. I had no idea what to expect & I was truly blown away. Lane Edwards (the owner) had invited a group of Edmonton bloggers & entrepreneurs over to create a bespoke perfume for each individual. The space was absolutely breathtaking & Lane's passion for her job & company was intoxicating. Just like that I was hooked on PURA Botanicals!
Emery and I visited Lane at her studio a couple weeks ago & we had the best time (see proof here, Em was pumped about our bag of goodies). We picked up a few different products to test out, and I am so incredibly happy about them.
PURA Botanicals Cocoa & Rose Body Oil: Oh my goodness, this concoction is the most amazing thing ever. Since the temperature has drastically dropped outside, my skin has been cracking & bleeding. I have been lathering this on & it has helped so much. Not to mention, you end up smelling like a delicious treat!
PURA Botanicals Mane Mist: I can't be the only one seems to overuse their hair tools causing damage to their hair. This mane mist from PURA has Witch Hazel in it that helps hydrate and protect your hair from elemental damage. It also gives your hair a silky texture which is an added bonus.
PURA Botanicals Sweet Face: This cream has really been helping with my wind chapped cheeks. The chamomile is super soothing & the vitamin E, coconut & almond oil really help to hydrate my face.
PURA Botanicals Desire Mist: This mist is a fun body elixir with a more citrusy scent. I love this mist as a little pick me up. I just feel a little bit saucier when I spritz this potion on!
PURA Botanicals Countess Cleansing Nectar: I have a confession, I am super bad at cleaning my face off. I usually wipe my make up off but hardly ever actually clean my face with any sort of cleanser. Lane suggested this bad boy, and am I ever glad she did. It's a cleanser & make-up remover all in one. I am all about saving steps at bedtime! This cleanser has one of my favourite oils in it (Lavender) & it's non greasy which is great!

Justine Ma is a local artist who I have a serious girl crush on. This lady's designs are beautiful, witty & adorable. Pretty much Justine just kills it in all that she does! You may remember this post of little E featuring pretty much the cutest onesie of all time! This new print of Justine's is such a beautiful reminder in this Instagram perfected world that a lot of us bloggers seem to live in. I definitely have a hard time grasping this concept, & spend lots of time obsessing/wishing I was like so so, etc. God created me & loves me just the way am, and I should try and remember that.

Teepeetots & Co has been one of my favourite shops to since purchase baby gifts from & Emery's mocassins since Emery was a wee little babe. I love that shop is hand sewn by two Mom's from Calgary, so much love goes into every piece. Their mocassins are seriously the easiest shoes to get on my squirming lil lady, not to mention adorable! They last a long time too since they are made with elastics. Their leggings are made with organic cotton & are just the cutest prints! They also have cute little beanies, infinity scarves & swaddles. Pretty much they have everything!

Sephora always has the cutest gift sets at Christmas time. It's so hard not to buy everything for yourself! Fresh Beauty is one of my favourite gifts to give (& receive). Their lip treatments are simply the best. Winter makes my skin so chapped including my lips, but these bad boys keep them super moisturized. Bonus? They smell so freaking delicious! I love this little ornament one they have too, which would be so cute to add as a gift topper. The face mask gift set is equally as delicious. The sugar face polish has real strawberry seeds in it which makes even more luxurious. Trust me you can't go wrong giving any of these away as gifts!
