The Estee Edit

This month, Estée Lauder just launched their new line, The Estée Edit. It is exclusively sold at Sephora. This new line is edgy, on trend and innovative. I tested out a few of the products, and these are some of my favourites.

The Estee Edit makeup

Beam Team Hydrate + Glow
This is a highlighter and face cream combined together. Usually I find tinted moisturizers to be heavy & cakey but this was not the case. If I don't have time to do my full makeup in the morning, I usually just put this on. It gives me a little bit of colour without looking like I fake and baked, and it's light and moisturizing. It also has a sweet but subtle smell. Another added bonus, underneath the cap is packed with a concentrate of the highlighter if you want to add a little extra shimmer.

The best pore minimizer

Pore Vanishing Stick
Small but mighty, this pore vanishing stick packs a powerful punch. It says you can use it under your make up or overtop. I found it worked best when I used it underneath my makeup. I mostly used it on my nose, and I actually noticed how much smoother it looked.

Flash Photo Powder
This is a great compact to always have stashed in your bag. The powder has a slightly blue tinge which sounds a little intimidating at first, but trust me it will win you over. The translucent blue powder helps to brighten your skin while absorbing all those annoying oils.

Flash Photo Gloss
This innovative gloss has small cool blue pearls that help highlight the whites of your teeth. Personally I like the sounds of that. They recommend that you can use it alone or with one of your favourite lipsticks, personally I like it paired with a lipstick. Worn alone, I found it a little too blue for my liking.

Kendall Jenner for The Estee Edit

This eyeshadow palette was inspired after Kendall Jenner, who is a guest editor for The Estee Edit. I am all about eye shadow sets that are pretty, portable and do all the work for me. The cool thing about this one is it comes with two shade transformers that have Black Light technology. Basically if you layer these shade transformers overtop of the other shadows, it shows up more intense under black lights.

The colour of this lipstick is the perfect mix of nude & berry, a.k.a the perfect 90s throwback shade. Their mattified lipsticks are made up of 20 percent conditioning oils, which helps them to go on super smooth. I find with a lot of lipsticks I usually have to add a little gloss so they don't dry out my lips but I didn't have to do that with this one.

Babies playing with makeup

Ever since I got my bag of The Estee Edit goodies, Emery can't stop playing with them. It is actually her favourite thing to do right now. Thankfully she hasn't figured out how to open the lipstick yet 😉.

I would definitely recommend checking out this fun new line by Estee Lauder. The Estee Edit is one of my new favourite beauty lines and I can't wait to try out some other goodies from them.
