Some of my fondest Christmas memories involve The Body Shop. When I was a little girl I would go with my Dad to help pick out a gift for my Mom. The store smelt so lovely & everything in the shop was so colourful. I remember how much fun it was to pick out something and how they would gift wrap everything so beautifully.

This little floral arrangement was super easy & inexpensive to make. I went scavenging in my yard for the greens & berries. I picked white mums, because they are simple & not very pricey. 

Supplies:

-garden cutters

-cute mug (I used this gold one from Anthropologie)

-greens 

-berries 

-flowers of your choice

I just trimmed down the flowers, greens & berries to fit into the mug & threw them in. You could add more or less if you want. Also a tip I read once is to remove any leaves from the flower stems that will be sitting in water. This way they don't rot & the flowers will last longer.

This would make a great Christmas gift. It's simple, cheerful & useful!

Ok how is my little peanut over two months old now? It seems to go by so fast & slow all at the same time. I love seeing the changes between her one month & two month photos. I adore how chubby she is getting! These photos force me to take photos of her with the real camera. Most of the time the photos are just with my IPhone (the amount of photos of her on there are probably borderline embarrassing :)). I am going to put all these photos along with the paintings in a little book for her. It will be such a nice little keepsake. Baby Mamas out there, do you do a monthly photo for your little babes?

Winter is definitely here to stay. We have gotten insane amounts of snow over the last week. Having fun & bright outerwear is one way I get through our long winters. If I have to bundle up in lots of layers, they might as well be cute!
