Charlotte Tilbury has to be one of the classiest & chicest beauty brands around. When it first launched in Canada, I was dying to try it out. It's available exclusively in-store at Holt Renfrew. It was founded by the talented make-up artist, Charlotte Tilbury. Her client list is insane, including Kate Moss, Amal Clooney & Natalie Portman (just to name a few).
I mean first up the packaging is so gorgeous, you can't go wrong with rose gold. Everyone is a sucker for cute packaging like me, right?
First up is probably my favourite out of the goodies I tested out, the Cheek to Chic blush in Love Glow. Personally my all time favourite blush is Orgasm by NARS, but this one has been taking it's place. It contains Light Flex Technology which helps capture light & re-emits it for a an extra glowing complexion.
When I'm doing my eye make-up, I'm usually drawn to neutral colors in brown tones. I have been using the Urban Decay in Naked Basics for awhile now. I was excited to use this Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in The Golden Goddess for a change. What I really loved about is how shimmery they were, what girl doesn't love a little glitter? I also find it super helpful when all the work is done for you. All the colors go great together & I don't have to spend time trying to match anything.
I hate to say it but fall is around the corner. We all know classic red lip pairs perfect with all those Pumpkin Spice Lattes, haha! All jokes aside, this lipstick in Love Bite is a great shade for fall or just all year round. Her lipsticks have some crazy cool secret ingredient in them called the Lipstick Tree which is an anti-oxidant that protects them from external pollution & UV damage which an added bonus.
The Color Chameleon Eyeshadow pencil in Champagne Diamonds was a fun product to test out. This particular colour is suppose to be used mainly for blue eyes but I found it worked on my brown eyes. I mostly used it on the inner corner of my eyes for an extra pop.
Overall, I was definitely impressed by this line and it lives up to all the hype. Have you tried it out at all? Let me know!
