It's been awhile since I've shared with you lovely readers my favourite beauty products. So here is a round up of my favourite beauty products as of lately. They are quickly becoming my new obsession. Let me know what you are obsessed with down below. I love hearing about new products!
Rodial was just introduced to me, and I have been testing out a few of their products. They have a lot of great skin products but also some equally awesome beauty ones. This blush has become my favourite colour for spring. It's a perfect coral colour that goes on velvety and not too heavy. It also has antioxidants and emollient ingredients in it, which is great for the skin.
I usually get stuck wearing the same nude or brown shades when it comes to eyeshadows. I use to be more adventurous when it comes to eyeshadows, so I have been trying to step up my eyeshadow game again. When I saw this beautiful set of colours from CHANEL, I had to test it out. The purple shade is super pretty on, and I like how there are two medium tones to colour and contour. Plus they give you a light shade for highlighting and a darker one to intensify. I love when things are set up for me like that!
Now there are several YouTube stars who are amazing at contouring and sculpting everything, including lips. I am not even close to being that talented but totally interested in experimenting when it comes to contouring. Thankfully MAKEUP FOREVER just released a few new products that makes contouring & sculpting easier for the rest of us. The Pro Sculpting Lip is a double ended tool that helps create the illusion of fuller looking lips. Basically you use the one end that has an opaque semi-matte colour then follow it up with the other end which has an iridescent powder-to-cream highlighter that adds volume and shape to your lips. It's a really fun tool to experiment with and this colour was a nice change from my usual pink tones.
YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres' Glossy Stain in 33 Bourgogne Artistique
YSL Beauty products continue to impress me. I last talked about YSL Beauty in my post about pink lipsticks for spring, which you can read here. The Glossy Stain from YSL is an all in one lip product. It's a gloss, stain and lipstick. Looking at it initially I thought it would be super thick and sticky. It was surprisingly lightweight and went on so smooth. The colour of this gloss is beautiful and very pigmented. It's also a super intense colour so I usually go light with my other make up when wearing this product. I'm intrigued to try it in other colours.

Until recently, I wasn't even aware that Shu Uemura had hair products. I thought they just carried make-up products. I've been using their eyelash curler for a very long time, so I was excited to try out some of their hair products. I absolutely love this finishing spray! It it is like hair spray but not sticky or stiff at all. It holds shape and allows your hair to move, and it smells delightful. A little heads up though, it's a very powerful spray. As in, when it comes out of the can it is a strong blast of spray.
This primer from Dermalogica has become an everyday favourite. I always follow up with this after applying my daily moisturizer. It goes so smooth and honestly makes my skin feel so velvety. It also really does make my pores way less noticeable and doesn't make my skin feel sticky at all.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think? Let me know!
